Dr. Gascó graduated in medicine from the Rovira i Virgili University, Tarragona, Spain, in 2001. She was board certified in oncology in 2006, University Hospital del Mar, Barcelona, Spain, gained her master’s degree the same year and is currently a PhD candidate. Dr. Gascó has worked with Dr. José Baselga, first at the Oncological Institute Baselga, Teknon Hospital, Barcelona in 2006, and later at the Quirón Hospital, Barcelona, in 2007. In 2008 she entered the Oncology and Radiotherapy Service of the Plató Hospital, Barcelona, Spain. Today she works at the Oncology Institute Dr. Rosell, USP Dexeus, University Institute, Barcelona, where she specializes in lung and gastrointestinal cancer. She has served as principal investigator and co-investigator in several clinical trials and has been actively involved in research activities resulting in publications in prestigious international scientific journals and presentations at national and international conferences on medical oncology.

Dr. Gascó is currently a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the Spanish Society of Clinical Oncology (Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica – SEOM) and the Spanish Lung Cancer Group (Grupo Español de Cáncer de Pulmón - GECP).
